Kristina Palmer, M.S.

Research Assistant III

Kristina began at JAX studying meiotic arrest. From there, she moved to development and craniofacial models, and then most recently returned to reproduction and a new interest, cancer models.

Kristina received her B.S. and M.S. in Animal Science from the University of Maine, a B.A. from The University of Maine Machias in 2019, and most recently an M.B.A. from Husson University in 2023. Kristina joined the Jackson Laboratory in 2007, where she worked on meiotic arrest models. From there, she moved on to craniofacial models, then early lethal mutants in the KOMP program. Kristina has been working as a Project Manager for KOMP and recently returned to reproduction, and she enjoys deep phenotyping of infertile mice. In 2025, she also expanded my focus to cancer models.
